Climate Impacts Group - Climate Change Scenarios

Overview & Applicability

The Climate Impacts Group (CIG) recently examined a select subset of global simulation models, driven by two greenhouse gas emissions scenarios (B1 and A1B), and produced updated scenarios of future climate for the PNW. The CIG is also developing a regional climate model for evaluating regional-scale climate change impacts.

This website contains information about the changing temperature, precipitation, and extreme weather events. Additionally, there is information on changing streamflow and how to plan for climate change in the Pacific Northwest.
