Tactics
- Promote the occurrence and growth of early-season native species
- Reduce grazing in July and August to encourage perennial growth
- Revise grazing policies
- and review and evaluate grazing allotment plans
- Manage fire to maintain desired habitat
- Apply prescribed burning in the spring
- Prevent fragmentation of native habitat
